Spring Loaded

Spring is finally popping through the dregs of winter-- in like a lion and out like a lamb for the month.  A big thank you for all who made the Boots and Boots CD release a huge success-- Joon Lee, Vardan, Peter, Darek, Sigmund Fudge, all my LA peeps, and of course my fam.  If you haven't already bought it click the link on this website and support creative artists (like myself!).

A quick rundown of some upcoming happenings--

March 28th I'll be at Tonyeong Art Center playing with full orchestra with Korean Pop artist extrordinaire,  Yoon Jongshin.  This guy has some unbelievable pipes!   We'll be playing Yoon Jongshin's compositions exquisitely arranged and orchestrated by maestro Cho Yoonseung (or, Cho, as we all know him by in LA).  --- as of now I believe tickets are sold out, but it doesn't hurt to try!

April 10th I'll be leading a tribute to Charlie Haden at Formtec Works Hall.  This is with a group of some of my favorite musicians-- Steve Pruitt, Kenji Omae, and Jiyoung Lee.  We'll be revisiting some of Haden's quartet west repertoire.  What a joy it is to be playing this music-- Charlie had a big, gentle sound, full of heart---
